Puppet Games has been established by members of Dawn – a community of passionate gamers, artists & coders from all over europe. Most of us have many years of experience in different fields under our belts and we are eager to use those skills to create something of our own and for you to enjoy!
While we are by no means amateurs, this is still the first professional project for most of us and we are all still working regular 9-5 jobs to bring actual food on the table. Please be patient – we are giving our best, but quality takes time. Even more when you are sidehusteling.
But without further ado – meet the crew:
Just being the “idea guy” is not enough, so I have spent the last 12+ years learning many different aspects of game development. From the intricacies of compute shaders over modelling & texturing my own assets to VFX & Cinematography and all the business overhead. If it exists you’ll mostly likely find my name in the credits. And yet – I still have much to learn.
Good music doesn’t fix a bad game – but it certainly makes a good game that much better! Hence – I make the music go “bleepity-bloop”. This is not my first rodeo and will not be my last either.
As a lifelong gamer, I was instantly drawn to this project and joined to help make it something awesome. Beyond managing E-Commerce and Marketing projects, I have hands-on experience in game QA, community management, streaming tools development, and even translation work within the gaming industry.
I understand what players really want—more fun, less overhyped AAAA nonsense. It’s that simple. Enjoy the ride—next station: Alpha!
Basically Marcel, just more on the “I wanna learn that stuff“-side of things. I joined the project because I wanted to improve my Modelling and Texturing skills. Happy to help and learn everywhere I can!
All in all I‘m filling the role as intern as well as internal mascot equally.
